On September 14th, 2016, a unique and amazing event took place via the Twitter social media platform. Hosted by Mar Dixon (@marmixon), she organized the question and answer event, @AskACurator, where 1,344 museums across 53 countries participated. Twitter users were encouraged to ask museum curators any question and have the curator of that museum answer their questions. The questions were just as interesting as the answers! The event provided museum enthusiasts with an unprecedented opportunity to ask curators of famous collections targeted questions and be rewarded with insightful answers.
